Scope of this solution is to develop a product design configurator (wizard) for a transformer.
This design automation wizard would capture all the design rules, formulae and best practices and allow the customer to deliver new designs with 70 percent reduction in design cycle time.
The configuration of the Transformer depends on customer specifications, site conditions, rating and transportation constraints. The wizard is capable of handling multiple rules at the same time for the design of the transformer components.
The specific scope of the wizard is to take a few parameters as inputs from the customer and drive the design of the entire transformer through a rule based program. The transformer contains about 200,000 components out of which about 4000 are unique components. |
